Logan Acres Foundation

The Logan Acres Community Foundation plays a pivotal role in enriching the lives of residents at the Logan Acres Senior Community. By channeling resources into meaningful projects, the Foundation ensures that the Senior Community enjoys an enhanced quality of life through improved facilities and engaging activities.

Monetary donations have been instrumental in completing several projects, such as installing stained glass windows in the chapel, purchasing patio furniture, acquiring therapy equipment, and maintaining an aviary. The largest project to date is the stunning gazebo located at the center of the campus, which serves as a hub for events, concerts, celebrations, and a serene spot for residents to relax outdoors.

Donating to the Logan Acres Community Foundation is not only a generous act of kindness but also a way to create a lasting, positive impact on the community. Contributions can be made in honor or memory of a loved one, adding a personal touch to your charitable giving.

  • Tax Benefits: As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Logan Acres Community Foundation ensures your donations are tax deductible.

  • Community Impact: Your donation supports projects that directly benefit the senior community, enhancing their living experience.

Flag Day Celebration

A little rain didn’t dampen the spirits for the Flag Day Celebration at Logan Acres!

The event began with a welcoming introduction by Campus Administrator, Lorraine Fischio and included special readings by Logan County Commissioner Greg Fitzpatrick and Logan Acres Foundation Member Zach Liggett.

Following the announcement of the flag dedications, the Logan County Color Guard made a special presentation of flags to all of our resident service members.

The event concluded with a fantastic performance by The Razzamatazz and Jazz Band that had everyone singing along, clapping and tapping their toes. It was a beautiful event despite the weather!

The Logan Acres Community Foundation is proud to sponsor this event along with the generosity of The Charles Kerns Family, Logan County Electric Cooperative, Quest Federal Credit Union and Hannah Southwood of Edward Jones. We appreciate their support.

Our Foundation includes 10 community members dedicated to enhancing the quality of living and care for the residents of the Logan Acres Senior Community through events, fundraising and facility improvements. If you are interested in supporting the works of the Logan Acres Community Foundations, please reach out to Campus Administrator Lorraine Fischio for additional information.
